This is a painting of cherry blossom trees which are symbol of ephemerality--
representing the fragility and the beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also short. As Buddha says: "the problem is, you think you have time." On the lower right of the paintings, there are a group of flying white cranes, generally symbolize longevity and freedom.
